We’re coming to Garner! We’re so excited to be able to serve SE Wake County and Johnston County through our partnership with the YMCA of the Triangle! The Poole Family YMCA has a great tradition of serving families who have a child with an IDD. Their No Limits program is a wonderful asset in the community.
We will be launching monthly Thrive parent group chats at Poole in coordination with No Limits for parents of teens and young adults. The Thrive group is a great place to build community with other parents, share resources, and discuss issues related to pursuing a preferred Quality of Life for your family. In addition to the chats, we also have a Guest Speaker series. (Next one is on Beyond the IEP and will be held at the Kraft YMCA in Apex on 2/18: register here if interested –>http://bit.ly/Beyond-the-IEP-Feb_2024) Some speaker events will be in person at Poole; others will be hybrid.
